Trinity

I believe that God has eternally existed as one God and three persons. These three persons are The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The Father is not The Son, The Son is not the Holy Spirit but The Father is God, The Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. God exists from eternity as three persons and does not exist in different modes so The Father does not become The Son, The Son does not become the Holy Spirit. The Trinity is monotheistic and any conception of tri theism is not trinitarian.

Scripture

The Bible comprised of 66 books (39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New) is the authoritative word of God. The Bible is the only thing that is God breathed and the only infallible rule of faith for the Church and for the Christian.

The Gospel

The Gospel is the good news of what Christ accomplished. Jesus, the eternal God, became a man being conceived in Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus the eternal God become man was born just as we all were once born. Jesus Christ lived the perfect righteous life that everyone else has failed to live. Even though Jesus was without sin he willingly allowed himself to be put to death on the cross (an instrument of capital punishment in his day) according to the plan of the father and in order to have a people for himself zealous for good deeds. On the cross Jesus took the just wrath for sin upon himself for all those that would trust in him and him only. After dying for sin and being buried he rose again on the third day physically coming out of the grave. Jesus declared all authority in heavan and on earth was his and ascended to the right hand of the Father where he reigns now as Lord of lords and King of kings.

Salvation

Salvation is found only in Christ and Christ alone. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone. Salvation cannot be earned by our good works. Grace is not only necessary for our salvation but grace is also sufficient for our salvation. Good works are an outflow of being in Christ and of God changing our hearts, but they in no way contribute to our salvation.
